GI Legion Baseball will have tryouts for anybody interested in tryout out for Junior Legion Baseball in 2011.  The Junior Legion sponsors are Wells Fargo Bank & Five Points Bank.  You must be 16 years old or younger as of Jan. 1st, 2011 to be elgible to make a team. 

Tryouts will be held on Monday, May 9th, Tuesday, May 10th, Wednesday, May 11th, from 6-8pm.  The tryout will conclude on Friday, May 13th, from 7-9pm.  All tryout sessions will be held at the Ryder Park Legion Field.

Home Federal will play Columbus Wednesday, July 14th, at 5pm in Fremont.  If we win we will play Friday, July 16th, at 8pm in Fremont.  If we lose we will play Thursday, July 15th, at 5pm.

The District tournament bracket is out.  We play Wednesday, July 14th, at 5pm in Fremont.  We are the #2 seed and play Columbus.  I am emailing the schedule to Cheryl Brown to distribute.

Home Federal Baseball Swimming and Dinner Party

All Home Federal Players and Parents are invited to the home of Brian and Denise Gallagher on Sunday, June 26th after the game at 12:30 at Ryder Park. The party will start around 4:30pm. Bring your swimming suits if you want to swim. Brian will be cooking hamburgers and hotdogs. If everyone would bring a covered dish for potluck it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and see you all Sunday.

The Gretna Tournament for Home Federal is cancelled for today.  I have no further information at this time for Sunday. I will post information as we get it.

The 10am game in Gretna has been moved back and possibly cancelled.  We will shoot for the 12:30pm game and will meet at Ryder at 9:15am to depart.  The 12:30pm game is on as of right now.

There will be no practice tonight.  The city is working the field for the tournament.  Be at park at the scheduled time for BP in the morning.

Wednesday, June 2nd is Riverdogs night at Ryder Park.  All the Riverdogs teams will be present for the double header and introduced between games.  Prizes and other activities are planned throughout the night.

Parents….the order forms are due to Cheryl Brown on Friday.  We have extended the deadline because the color of shirt is wrong on the form.  The shirts will be red instead of grey.  The hats are fitted hats, we need sizes on order form.  Please turn in order form no later then Friday.

HOME FEDERAL WILL PRACTICE TONIGHT AT GISH IN THE WEST GYM.  PRACTICE WILL BE FROM 6-8PM.
